INS CareCall is a leading family-owned Australian Health Care Company dedicated to delivering quality services that support people in their home.

The INS Group was established in 1984 as the Illawarra Nursing Service. As one of the oldest care providers in Australia, we have had substantial experience in providing health care services in the community, as well as emergency response and accompanying assistive technologies.  INS CareCall  originally took over Baptist CareCall incorporating the supply and maintenance of Baptist CareCall's existing alarm hardware, whilst monitoring of any alarms was provided through INS LifeGuard’s unique Emergency Response Centre, which is staffed by qualified nurses.


INS CareCall supplies and monitors emergency response equipment and services, including hardware manufactured by Chiptech, Smart-Caller, SmartLink, and the LifeGuard L-Series Diallers.

Monitoring Services

There’s a big difference between INS LifeGuard and other providers. INS LifeGuard's Emergency Response Centre is staffed by highly qualified and experienced nurses and other health care professionals, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We know of no other company who can make that claim, and we feel it’s an important distinction. Emergency personnel are engaged quickly if required and our nurses can not only share personal details, but also medical information that could save a life.

  • Our services are Prevention-based

    INS CareCall products and services are far more comprehensive and are fully flexible, tailored to the individual’s needs.

  • We provide Welfare Checks

    e.g. for those returning home from the hospital or who may be ill. We call to make sure the client is comfortable and everything is alright.

    You can at any time ask us to check on your clients and we will even report back if required.


    We don’t forget about the person after the alarm, but rather we track their progress, for instance until they arrive home from the hospital.


    We follow up with you if your client goes into hospital so you know whether to cancel their next service. And we’re even developing a web portal where you will be able to track the progress of your clients directly.

  • We offer a Health Information Line

    Clients can call our nurses at any time for information or support, as well as a Chat Line for the lonely, socially isolated, those suffering from grief or anxiety, or who may just need someone to talk to.


    Health Information, Chat Lines and the other services mentioned above are included free services.

  • We provide a Free Call 1800 number

    All communication between the client and INS CareCall is via a free call 1800 number.

  • We exceed Australian Standards for Medical Monitoring

    Indeed we work under the higher standards required and expected of us as registered health care providers.

  • Department of Veterans’ Affairs

    We’re a contracted provider.

  • NDIS Registered

    Funding to cover the cost of our products and services could be available under NDIS Standard (Level 2) Assistive Technology and could be approved without the need for an assessment or quote.

  • Tailored to Aged Care, Emergency and Health Care monitoring

    INS CareCall’s equipment sets a benchmark in features tailored to Aged Care, Emergency and Health Care monitoring, but we’re also able to monitor a variety of other provider’s equipment.

My parents both used your system and when my father suddenly passed away at home my mother pressed her pendant and the nurses at INS called emergency services and kept her calm throughout the whole process. Unfortunately, I had to use my mother’s pendant this year in January when I found my mother had also passed away. INS nurses called emergency services and their promptness allowed the ambos to arrive within minutes. The INS nurses kept in constant contact with me keeping me calm.
